We have found this moth at Claire Cottage on the Dorrigo Plateau.

Distribution:  CYP to Mount Keira, Southern NSW.

Sighted at Claire Cottage between December & April.

We have found this moth at Claire Cottage on the Dorrigo Plateau.

Distribution:  CYP to southern NSW, Mount Keira.

• DORRIGO PLATEAU:  None to date
• ELSEWHERE:  None to date

Larval food plants:

• DORRIGO PLATEAU:
• ARACEAE: Alocasia macrorrhizos (Cunjevoi)
• DIOSCOREACEAE: Dioscorea bulbiflora, D. transversa (Yam)
• ELSEWHERE:  As for Dorrigo Plateau plus

 
Breeding season on the Dorrigo Plateau:  Thought to be September to April

Flight habit: Nocturnal - Active at night.

Adult Moth:  Size at rest - tip of thorax to tip of forewing:  65mm
Adult Moth:  Size at rest - tip of left forewing to tip of right forewing: 80mm
Mature larva:  length - 120mm.     Larva colour forms in the final instar: Brown & Green
