Flight habit: Nocturnal - Active at night.
Adult Moth: Size at rest - tip of thorax to tip of forewing: 65mm
Adult Moth: Size at rest - tip of left forewing to tip of right forewing: 80mm
Mature larva: length - 120mm.
Colour form: Final instar: Green & various shades of brown (light & dark).
Eye Spots: Final instar 2
Other distinguishing features: Very small caudal horn in final instar.
Caudal Horn: Larger straight backward pointing in young larva, shorter, thicker, curved downward, still backward pointing in final instar.
