ITEMS OF INTEREST : Up to December 2016 we had not located Gahnia clarkei growing on, or close to, our property. In 2018 we introduced 12 small plants which continue to matured well in mid 2021.
The Painted Sedge-skipper Hesperilla picta may be confused in flight with the Spotted Sedge-skipper Hesperilla ornata which has become quite common our property. Obtaining a photograph of Hesperilla picta here on our property remains most important to ensure our 2011 identification was accurate.
