We are confused that these two horns look so different as the larvae look the same.

Breeding season in FNQ - not confirmed but thought to be all year
Flight habit: Nocturnal - Active at night.
Adult Moth: Size at rest - tip of thorax to tip of forewing: 50mm, top of forewing to tip of other forewing 50mm.
Mature larva: length - 100mm. Colour form in the final instar is green. Body eyespots - none.
