Distribution: Northern Territory & Cape York Peninsula, FNQ into NSW & south to Wollongong.
Sighted at Claire Cottage November 2022 & March 2023.

Larval food plants:
- DORRIGO PLATEAU: APOCYNACEAE Tabernaemontana panacaqui (Banana Bush - common understorey shrub grows in & near rainforest and moist forest on the Dorrigo Plateau)
- ELSEWHERE: APOCYNACEAE Alstonia actinophylla (Milkwood); Alstonia constricta - (Fever Bark - grows south to Woolgoolga and is common in vine thicket and shrubby open forest on the North West Slopes and parts of the Northern Tablelands (possibly in the gorge country), A. muelleriana (Yellowwood), A scholaris (Milky Pine), Neisosperma kilneri - (Kilners Ochrosia - grows south to Brisbane), Ochrosia elliptica - (Kopsia - grows south to south-east QLD), Tabernaemontana divaricata, CORNACEAE Alangium villosum (uncommon small sub-tropical rainforest tree on the NSW mid-north coast), Alangium villosum subsp. tomentosum & subsp. polyosmoides.
Breeding season on the Dorrigo Plateau: Not yet proven - our only 3 Dorrigo Plateau sightings thought to possibly be migratory moths attracted to our sheet on hot (sometimes windy) nights (see photos).
Breeding season in FNQ - not confirmed but thought to be all year
Flight habit: Nocturnal - Active at night.
Adult Moth: Size at rest - tip of thorax to tip of forewing: 50mm, tip of forewing to tip of other forewing 60mm.
Mature larva: length - ??mm. Colour forms in the final instar are ?? form.
