Flight habit: Nocturnal - Active at night.
Adult Moth: Size at rest - tip of thorax to tip of forewing: ?? - ??mm Mature larva: length - 100mm. Colour forms (2): Final instar: Green or Brown. Eye Spots: 1 Blue & White eye-spot on the metathorax (close to the head). Other distinguishing features: Pale diagonal stripes along both sides (clearly visible in the brown form) with a pale body length line above them. Dorsal Horn: Backward-curving pale brown in final instar. Pupa: Formed under leaf litter below food plant.
