These beautiful butterflies photographed at Cathedral Rocks National Park in December 2014 were feeding on exotic blackberry flowers (Rubus anglocandicans). This bramble clump, although a noxious weed, filled us with delight as it attracted a large number of butterflies of many different species. On subsequent visits the brambles had been sprayed and killed, which we supported, but it was sad that now there were no butterflies at this spot.
